You can play the whole game without creating an account. We do not ask for your name, e-mail address, age or phone number.

Your best scores per game mode, your last result and your coin balance are saved in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device, is not sent to us, and disappears if you clear your browser data. The optional "Make available offline" button installs a service worker that caches the game files so the game works without a network connection.

If your score reaches the global top 10 you may enter a short alias (up to 10 characters). We store that alias together with your score, the game mode and the level you reached, and show it publicly on the leaderboard.

Please do not use your real name, your school, your e-mail address or any other personal information as your alias. Pick a nickname. If a child plays, a parent should help choose it.

If an alias needs to be removed, contact us (see the About & contact page) with the alias and the score, and we will delete the entry.

We are preparing to show ads through Google AdSense to help cover the cost of running the site. Advertising is currently switched off — no ad slots are rendered on the site today.

When advertising is switched on, this is what it means:

• Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads and to measure them.
• Because MEGA MAROLI is a game aimed at children, the site is set up to request non-personalized ads. Non-personalized ads still use limited information, such as rough location and the content of the page, to pick an advertisement and to fight fraud.
• You can read more in Google's own description at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Before any advertising cookies are used for visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, a Google-certified consent message will ask you to accept or reject them, and your choice can be changed later from the same message. Until that consent flow is live, ads remain switched off on this site.

We do not run a separate analytics product on the game. Basic technical logs (for example server request logs) may be produced by the hosting platform, as with any website.

The game is intended to be family-friendly and is treated as directed to children. That is why there are no accounts, no chat, no messaging between players and no personalized advertising. The only text a player can submit is the short leaderboard alias described above.

• Clear your browser data to remove local scores and coins.
• Do not submit an alias if you prefer not to appear on the leaderboard.
• Contact us to have a leaderboard entry removed.
• Uninstall the offline cache from your browser's site settings.
